The scope of work involves identifying the Process Coverage, Data Integrity,
productivity improvement, Reporting frequency and adequacy , Training Adequacy ,
system availability and User support and capability.
The process focuses whether the technology deployed address the three critical
components
- Business functionality
- Ease of Use
- Security
The approach will identify the technological assets of the company including Power,
UPS, Networking, Server, Desktops, Peripherals, Internet, VPN, Backup, Applications,
Anti-virus, and Software. The identified assets are audited and a gap analysis document
will be presented to the management as part of audit findings. The audit findings will
provide apart from the gap analysis, the recommendations which may include
technology upgrade/downgrade, training requirements and a plan of action. The
above technology audit will ensure that the Return of Investment on Technology is
achieved through decisions taken based on audit recommendations. |
